Yet another addition to my list of Datsuns I Never Heard Of.

Mechanically, it’s a 510 underneath. I prefer them since they actually made an attempt at styling them.
Also, the 2-door looks like a shrunken Kenmeri Skyline, which is awesome.

Hmm...they look like what we used to know as the 240C & 260C.

Nope, the C was about two (if not three) sizes up but it’s horribly confusing as there were so many different variants for different markets.
The order was (to use the names used here)
140/160J (710)
160/180B
200L
280C

Ummm-thinking hard here-I had all 3 a looonnng time ago. Thinking the 710 had a solid axle?

The SSS had the IRS setup from the 510.
EDIT: Also, so did the 510 wagon.

Ahhhh...OK. So these things were more akin to the 120Y we saw here. Of the images you showed, the wagon is more familiar to me than the coupe and I don’t recall that 120Y (which was a coupe) ever having a wagon version.
